Jul. 31st, 2005 01:54 amIt's been a bit of a troubling night, but at least sleep is on the way.
Tomorrow I'm going to Oakland to see the A's game and get a Jason Kendall bobblehead for doing so. It would be sweet if somehow they could get Kendall's usual 3 day stubble on there, but I really doubt they will. That's kind of a lot of work. But clean-shaven is just not Jason Kendall. Maybe they'll put a catcher's mask on him and cop out completely. The game will ease my worried mind.
Note to Theo Epstein: Don't do anything stupid. The Red Sox have won 4 in a row and don't need to be broken up right now.
Today's accomplishment: figuring out the lead part to Bruce Springsteen's "The Rising" and bending the hell out of it during practice. That was pretty solid.
