Mishaps that always happen in threes
Aug. 21st, 2005 03:06 amRIP Thomas Herrion. I pray tonight for your family and the entire 49ers team. Godspeed, buddy.
SoCal trip was interesting. I kinda had to put up with a lot of crap from the family, but they're the family and ours is a pretty tight-knit clan and you don't step over your family for anyone, so there it is. Sox won one of the two games I went to. They blew today's game with no offense and a shit job managing the bullpen by Francona, but whatever, tomorrow's another game and PBR is on the mound so it should be good.
Things with Lacy get better all the time. At the beginning it was just kinda casual, but it's taken some pretty big steps into something very legitimate lately. By the end of the week, I'll attempt to give it the official stamp and seal and we'll go from there, and many good times will happen. I was apprehensive about it in general at the beginning, but things have come together there so well. I mean, I had a thing for her before, but this is just crazy how I'm falling for her here. I usually don't like to talk about this kinda stuff in my livejournal, because quite frankly, I'm usually pretty sure things AREN'T going to work out and I don't wanna publically look like a moron when they don't but this one is going to work pretty well. I can just tell.
I'm in Oakley for a little while (for now). Still have to move all my stuff from Davis and take care of a lot of red tape, and somehow I'll get all that garbage out of the way soon enough.
It's hard to update LJ at home. I started this at Davis and regularly write in it when I'm there but it just doesn't feel right doing it at home. I'm kinda used to just reading and watching TV and chatting online at home. Whenever I have to do some good solid studying, I never should come home, cause it just ain't gonna happen. My books rarely leave my duffel bag when I bring em home.
Oh yeah, Dave Matthews Band kicked ass! Like a 2 and a half hour set...it was awesome. A ton of stoners and totally not my crowd, but the music was amazing, everyone in that group is so talented. The highlight for sure for me was when they played "Rhyme & Reason", easily my favorite song. "Warehouse" was pretty awesome too. I hope that's not the last time I see that group.
Anyway, this is a long entry. Enough nonsense.
