Productivity

Started the AM with a 3 mile run. Parents got stuck inside sister's house and I disassembled and repaired the front door lock. Made me feel manly.

Pats put a nice beatdown on the Jets and now I'm sipping a Guinness and eating a grilled cheese. This is what Saturdays are made of.

Now if I could just get my parents to stop talking about the election.....

Real Heroes

I remember a Christmas Eve long ago where I was waiting on one last (big) gift to arrive by mail. I'd already resigned myself to the thought that it wasn't coming and I'd have to apologize/improvise to the recipient of said gift and figure out some way to get it to them after the fact. I was napping, and woke up suddenly to some sort of noise. I groggily went to my window but didn't see anything around. Little did I realize it was the package I was waiting for, needing my signature for delivery.

Forgetting they delivered on 12/24, I noticed out my window the brown truck rumbling by. I went bolting out my front door sprinting behind the truck as it pulled away. My arms were flapping and I was yelling "HEEEY! HEEEY! STOOOOP!". The guy did stop and I was able to get the package and present it the next day.

Delivery guys are the real heroes of the holidays.
