I was recently corrected. Fastball is not a "one-hit" wonder as a friend of mine points out. They had a slow ballad called "Out of My Head" that got a lot of radio play. Sorry, Fastball. I hope you forgive me.

I actually remember I saw them live once. They were at this all-day festival opening for Barenaked Ladies, Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, and Blues Traveler. They were actually pretty good, but the guitar player kept giving shit to the crowd for not being into it and "not being real rock fans." It was kinda lame.
