Let Me Stand Next to your (turkey) fire

Well.. that was fun.
Two hours into cooking the turkey we hear a funny noise. I go into the kitchen and the bottom coil is totally ablaze shooting sparks all over the place. Turns out the oven coil was worn down and just blew up due to wear and tear. After shutting off the electricity and letting the fire burn out, and clearing the place out of smoke, we're left with a half-cooked turkey, and no oven. If you look closely to the left side, you'll see where it ultimately snapped in two, and of course the charred remains.

Looking like tonight will be much like the first part of "The Santa Clause" - "everyone likes Denny's, it's an American institution!"
