borlandia2016 isn't missing a beat. Carrie Fisher, who for at least a day was doing OK after a massive heart attack, heads off at a relatively young 60 years old.
Someone in a comment section (always read the comments) said that Carrie Fisher reminded them of the weird aunt in the family: led an interesting life, uncensored, might not be the best to keep the kids close to, but probably the one that could tell you the most about getting through tough times and dealing with the normal trials and tribulations of life.
Star Wars grew from a film series to a cultural juggernaut, and took along with it everyone that played a major role. Fisher was no exception, and went along with the landscape that people used as their philosophy and lifestyle. I'm more of a Trek guy, myself, but can relate to the impact Fisher had, as part of the SW family, on so many out there.
