Ooooh man quite the game. Tek gets photo dap for that monster blast that got the Sox rollin' (got another RBI later too) and eventually won the damn game. Trot had a homer as well, and Manny and Papi had back to back hits for runs. Arroyo pitched good...good ENOUGH anyway. The whole game the Sox kinda had this cocky swagger like they knew they were gonna win. I bought it too. Blue Jays were droppin' like flies. Bush got hit hard, League came in and got rocked....Chulk kinda owned em, but whatever. Then at the end I think everyone started to wonder...like "uh oh they could LOSE this game"...and at one point I was screaming at the screen "PUT IN HALAMA YOU FUCKING MORON!!!". Stayed with Foulke though, and despite giving up hits from practically every Jays hitter (Hinske HAS to be on steroids, the guy has NO NECK) and walking Menechino and beaning Reed Johnson to load the bases, finally like the pro he was got Orlando Hudson to ground out and got a (probably undeserved) save and a Sox win.

Tomorrow? Rough. Fat Boy Wells against one time Cy Young'er Roy Halladay. Yikes. Bring the big bats boys!

That was a pathetic excuse for an attempt to play a game.

I know it's early and I shouldn't overreact, but that is as poorly as I have seen the Sox play in some time. David Wells' illustrious Sox career is off to a wonderful 0-2 start, and let's just face it.

THESE NEW GUYS STINK SO FAR

What I wouldn't give right now to see Pedro, Cabrera, Lowe, Scott Williamson, Curtis Leskanic, FUCK, ANYONE than the guys they have now.

Renteria .158 No homers, 2 RBIs
Wells 0-2 8.44 ERA
Clement 4 IP and a WHIP around 2 in his first start
Mantei 13.50 ERA
Halama 16.20 ERA

And who takes the cake? Blaine Neal. No one has even really HEARD of this guy, but SOMEHOW he makes the roster. I guess he used to play for the Marlins or something. Well, hes just off to an AWESOME start. 20.25 ERA, what a stud. Gives up a fucking grandslam to a career backup catcher today. Nice. The bottom line is the new faces aren't worth SHIT in these first few games. The bullpen is just plain awful outside of Embree, Foulke and Timlin.

Ortiz, nice homer. Trot, pretty good day. Everyone else? Pretty much horrible. Back to a lovely losing record.

I guess there's always tomorrow.
